I'm a Gloucestershire based social media and marketing professional, who has over 20 years of experience gained in a wide variety of organisations.
I have been a freelance tennis industry professional for a number of years, having turned my passion and hobby into my career.
why tennis?
That's an easy one!
Tennis has been in my life since a young age. I represented my area at U14 and U16 level, played Division 1 club tennis and coached professionally for a number of years. Rumour has it, I even played in the British Nationals!
You could say that tennis has been a real passion of mine and I have been fortunate enough to combine this with my marketing expertise.
It's not all about tennis though (well nearly) and I have been working with other clients where I have adopted similar practices and techniques.
my approach
I absolutely love what I do and it really comes across in my approach. Everything that I do is done with care, pride and to the best of my ability.
I get great satisfaction from seeing projets come to fruition, whether it's an event video, Facebook campaign or managing my clients' social media channels.
I don't like to over-complicate things and won't blind you with unnecessary jargon.
I keep things simple, effective and engaging.
LTA Coach Accreditation
When working with tennis clubs, players and County Associations, I'm often asked about safeguarding and if I have any form of recognised approval or benchmark.
In 2019, I applied to be an LTA Accredited Coach, although I'm not actively coaching, it provides me with a stamp of approval that is industry recognised.
I am DBS checked, hold a First Aid certificate, have a valid LTA Coaching Qualification (Level 4) and have undertaken the LTA Safeguarding and Protection in Tennis course.
I am committed to continual professional development and keeping my qualifications up to date.
